CHEERS TO 2 YEARS!

Around this time last year my husband wined me & dined me at the most romantic city view dinner for two, celebrating our 1 year wedding anniversary. This year, two increased to three as our newborn baby boy joined our anniversary celebration.

I wore one of my boutique’s new releases, the Leaf Woven Puff Sleeve Maxi. Being only 3 weeks post pregnancy, this maxi dress was so perfect! I’m on the conservative side so I pinned the V-Neck collar slightly to control my even more noticeable cleavage. This new mommy body makes me feel like a black Monroe. I GOT DOLLED UP & TURNED NOWHERE INTO SOMEWHERE

Amidst this global pandemic of COVID-19, I planned for a special day, my own. My birthday rolled around and every year I look forward to celebrating it with family & close friends. This year, I had to adjust my plans as everyone in my state has been strongly advised to remain indoors. I purchased my birthday dress, shoes & accessories weeks in advance and was looking forward to getting all dolled up. When my big day arrived, as I looked through my closet, my hands gravitated to the dress. I then made the decision to wear it anyway. I pulled the dress out, untwisted my hair, did my makeup, put on my accessories and was ready to go!
