A Family Day at the Aquarium 🐠

Sometimes the best days are the ones where you simply slow down and spend time together.

This week, my family and I headed to the aquarium for a much-needed day out, and it was exactly what we needed. Before we left, I started my morning with my Farmasi gummy vitamins, Aloe Glow, and a Recharge drink because I was feeling a little low on energy.

After choosing my GLuxe inspired scent of the day, Bond No. 9 New York Forever, we were officially ready for our adventure.

The aquarium was full of moments that made us smile. The kids were fascinated by the penguins and colorful jellyfish, and we all stood in awe of a giant sea turtle that was actually older than me! We also spotted an electric eel that instantly reminded me of The Little Mermaid and watched the sea lions expertly catch their lunch.

One of the funniest moments of the day happened completely by surprise. I noticed what I thought was a tiny caterpillar, but after taking a closer look, I realized it was actually a larva. I couldn’t leave without giving it a name, so “Marv” it was! Since I didn’t think it would survive inside the aquarium, I carefully brought it outside. Nature will take its course, but at least Marv had a fighting chance.

After exploring, we stopped for a snack at the aquarium café, where the waterfront view was just as enjoyable as the food. We later grabbed another bite to eat before taking a walk through the city. It had been such a long time since I had wandered through the streets like that, and seeing my oldest son enjoy something he had always wanted to do made the experience even more meaningful.

Life can get busy, and it’s easy to put off making memories for “another day.” This trip reminded me that some of the best moments aren’t extravagant. They are found in laughter, curiosity, unexpected adventures, and simply being together.

Days like these fill my heart, and I’m so thankful we made the time to enjoy one another. Here’s to making more memories, exploring new places, and appreciating the little moments that turn into the biggest blessings.
